Yard Smart contains generic reports that are available directly from the application. These reports are meant to provide real time visibility on the status of the yard or to troubleshoot abnormalities. Also, most of our user interface screens have dynamic grids that can be grouped, sorted, columns can be added or removed, creating custom views that can be exported to excel and used as reports. C3 Solutions does offer custom report building services. However, the application is also specifically designed to allow our customers to build their own reports. Yard Smart runs with 2 separate databases: an OLTP (production) and a denormalized OLAP (data store). The OLAP database allows our customers to use any business intelligence tool they have available and generate customized reports against the clear and concise data. Our reports are separated in three categories: operational reports, analytical reports and dashboard reports.
