Description

BITS offers training for businesses and recruiters that are interested in importing Temporary Foreign Workers (TFW) to Alberta. We offer upgrade training that will give TFWs the knowledge required to challenge the Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training (AIT) and Red Seal qualification examination. We currently offer training for the following disciplines:

Welder, Steamfitter, Pipefitter, Ironworker, Machinist, Millwright, Carpenter, Electrician, Heavy Duty Mechanic, Crane Operator.

We are adding discipline capability as the demand warrants.

Our custom program remains the same whether we deliver the curriculum domestically or internationally. Candidates are pre-assessed and tested by BITS professionals to determine the skill level of all foreign workers. We test theoretical knowledge as well as general knowledge of english. We work cooperatively with the Canadian English Academy, our English as a Second Language (ESL) training partner. Language proficiency is a pre-requisite for the successful completion of the Red Seal training and AIT qualification certificate examination.
