Burke's Honey has been processing and packing honey since 1909. Starting three generations ago, as part of a farming operation, Burke's Honey Ltd. now operates a Canadian Food Inspection Agency registered honey packing plant, located less than two kilometers from the farm on which it got its start. Burke's Honey Ltd. is owned and operated by Brian and Jennifer Burke. Our primary focus is to supply quality honey and maple syrup to retail grocery trade, health food industry, foodservice distributors, and bakery trade in Canada . Our sales are handled in house, and through independent regional distributors. Our honey is carefully selected for purity, flavour and colour. With nearly 100 years of experience, you can be confident that you are buying a quality product. We are registered with and inspected by the Canada Food Inspection Agency and enjoy a top rating. We pack a variety of sizes and flavours of honey ranging from the 60g. size suitable for gift baskets, to 15 kg pails used in the bulk food, bakery, and food service industries. We offer a range of honey flavours, including clover, wildflowers, and buckwheat. We also offer a choice of either glass or squeezable plastic packaging. Glass has been the traditional choice, but break resistant plastic offers a significant weight reduction which saves on shipping costs.
