There are many amongst us that firmly believe in the value of organic food. For some, there is the possibility of improved health, while for others there is the consideration for the environment. Bubby Rose's Bakery feels that both aspects are important and we have always wanted to steer in the direction of increased usage of organic ingredients. Toward that end, we have been using a number of organic items for a long time: rolled oats, maple syrup, yogourt, some fruit, wild blueberries, coffee, spelt flour (no option!), cheddar cheese and flax seed. Now we have begun to experiment with flours, sugar and sea salt. As you know, this costs us more money and, sadly, we must increase our prices as we incorporate more organic foodstuffs into our production. Nevertheless, we hope that you understand and appreciate our efforts in this regard.
