Brown's Concrete Products Limited manufactures a complete line of concrete blocks, concrete paving stones, segmented retaining wall units and other fine concrete items. Our products are marketed in Ontario and the northern United States through a network of distributors. At our facility in Sudbury we also distribute brick, designer stone, bagged cement products, and associated landscaping and construction materials from manufacturers such as Hanson Brick, Boulder Creek Stone Products, Shouldice Designer Stone and Quikrete.

Brown’s Concrete produces a full line of concrete blocks that are in accordance with CSA (Canadian Standards Association) standards and CCMPA (Canadian Concrete Masonery Producers Association) guidelines. All units expressed below are metric - dimensions are in millimetres (mm), weights in kilograms (kg).

Three generations of the Herold family are now involved in operating Brown's Concrete today. Together with our dedicated staff, we look forward to continuing to provide professional advice and the highest quality products to our valued customers.

Brown's Concrete was originally established in Sudbury, Ontario in 1907 by David L. Brown (aka "The Cement King"). Mr. Brown was the first manufacturer of concrete products in the Sudbury area. The concrete was mixed by hand and poured into wooden molds to cast the blocks. After removing the mold, the blocks were left in place to cure; water spraying was done to ensure the concrete would not dry out during curing.
