Susana's experience was vast when it came to government relations: a former Special Assistant to the President of the Treasury Board of the federal government of Canada, she had expertise in navigating government bureaucracy and interpreting legislation. After successfully navigating the complexities surrounding the Disability Tax Credit for her own family, Susana set a vision for Brematson & Associates to bring clarity and build connections for families across Canada. Responding to requests from organizations such as Cancer Care , the Hearing Centre, Health and Wellness Convention and Continuity Care, Susana performs numerous public speaking engagements each year. Born in Azores, Portugal, Susana immigrated to Canada as a young child and is fluent in Portuguese. She is a proud member of the Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce . She is also a Parent Representative for Early Years (K-4), for the Advisory Committee for Community and Educational Support Services for Special Needs in the Pembina Trails School Division . Susana's daughter Victoria is a member of the Society of Manitobans with Disabilities.
