Bowron Lake Lodge provides guests with unlimited organized and "do-it-yourself" recreational opportunities. Originally built in 1912 by Joe and Betty Wendle as a hunting and fishing lodge, Bowron Lake Lodge has evolved as a business as solid as the timbers from which it was formed. Purchased in 1934 by Bill and Kezia May McKitrick, the lodge remains in the McKitrick family to this day. Roy, one of Bill and Kezia May's four children, expanded the business to what it is today.
