Bouma Orthotic Clinics Inc. is a privately owned and operated orthotic clinic new to Sherwood Park. Seeing a need for such a facility in his home town, Rob Bouma, Certified Orthotist, relocated the business from south Edmonton in November 2004. In business since 2000, Bouma Orthotic Clinics Inc. services many of the Health Care Centres across Northern Alberta. Rob Bouma, (C.O.), is a proud member of the (CAPO) Canadian Association of Prosthetists & Orthotists, (CBCPO) Canadian Association for Prosthetics & Orthotics, and (AAOP) Alberta Association of Orthotists & Prosthetists. A Certified Orthotist is trained in biomechanics, anatomy, materials and patho-physiology, all necessary to accurately problem solve and create functional orthotic devices which are as individual as the people they are made for.
