We started this company back in 1988 to ensure that we had a continuous supply of premium quality grapes for our winemaking hobby. Wine has always been a part of our lives coming from Italian families. Making wine at home was fun and always rewarded us for our efforts. Over the years through many wine clubs, associations and trips to the wine country we met many great people. The subject of wine became an obsession that we have never quite outgrown. In 1987 we first tasted a Brehm wine made with Brehm grapes. We were hooked. We started bringing Brehm grapes in primarily for ourselves but soon our Brehm grape wines began to gain interest and we were getting orders from our first customers. The timing was right as being home with the kids and distributing Brehm grapes was quite a compatible thing to do. The three boys slowed us down for a while. They are all in school full time now and although they still take up a lot of our time with all of their extra curricular activities we have regained time to pursue our wine hobby. Our grape Brehm sales continued to grow and our product offering has increased over the years. The winery sales is now a big part of our business and one we enjoy very much. We have reached a crossroad were the hobby has grown to a feasible long-term business that keeps more than a few of us busy -- hence The Grape Bunch.
