How did Bombay Chopsticks get started? In 1998, a young Canadian with a great taste for Indian-Chinese food opened just such a restaurant in Mississauga, Ontario. The response from his clients was fantastic; after dining in the restaurant, many ordered additional dishes to be taken home with them. Visitors from the United States enjoyed the cuisine so much they requested that additional franchises be opened in Manhattan, New York, Washington and Los Angeles. Bombay Chopsticks are full service, casual dining, Indian-Chinese style restaurants. We are a Canadian company, based in Mississauga, Ontario.
