The company also markets their proprietary software program – UVCalc, which models the distribution of UV light in a reactor. It can be used to assist in the design of a new reactor or to evaluate the performance of existing reactors. Dr. Bolton is presently the Executive Director of the International Ultraviolet Association, Adjunct Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, University of Alberta, and Professor Emeritus of Chemistry, University of Western Ontario.
