She worked briefly as a club DJ in Toronto, also as a freelance commentator for a radio program in Barrie, and later as a mobile Disc Jockey for over 5 years with one of the largest DJ companies in Waterloo Region at the time.
Joel Axler has been a Canadian entertainment pioneer for over 30 years in that he co-founded the Yuk Yuk’s entertainment company with Mark Breslin in 1976 and has produced live, radio, television and special events in comedy since that time. He saw amateurs like Jim Carrey, Howie Mandel, Mike and Norm MacDonald begin and hone their crafts and careers. In this special show, Joel puts meaning, background and context into various comedy segments from several decades, and always points to important Canadian Comedy Events.
