Blacky's was founded in 1960 by John Blackham senior. After serving his country overseas, his love of cars made working on cars something that came naturally. In true entrepreneurial spirit, John Sr created Blacky's to supply the growing need for car parts. John's love of cars and business has been passed down in true family tradition to John Blackham Jr. John worked in the yard as a young boy and eventually took over the business in 1975. To this day the spirit of entrepreneurship, dedication, hard work and above all else, customer service is the driving force at Blacky's.

Blacky's Auto recycling has been a outstanding member of the Better Business Bureau for over 30 years and prides itself on its reputation for excellence in all its dealings with customers and suppliers alike.
