So you might as well get paid to drool all over the merchandise. Blackfoot Motosports the number one team in the power sports industry is seeking a career oriented professional to join our culture of engagement and high performance. As a Journeyman Technician you are responsible to perform preventive and general, on-going, repair and maintenance of powersport products and monitor the progress of apprentice mechanics as part of the district approved apprentice program to ensure a well functioning Service centre. Essential Functions Maintain a culture with a passion for customer service • Assist the Customer Care Representatives teams in meeting and exceeding company objectives and goals • Continually analyze and make recommendations to improve the efficiency of the operations and create a culture for continuous improvement • Performs general maintenance and repairs on powersport products. • Performs preventive maintenance inspections (PMI’s). • Troubleshoots, repairs and rebuilds engine components, transmission, drive train, Suspension, cooling system, electrical/electronic system, fuel system, hydraulic system, brakes, steering and exhaust system. • Performs various modifications to powersport products as directed. • Designs and fabricates specialty and other equipment as directed. • Trains apprentice mechanics and may directly supervise hourly helpers. • Performs minor powersport product repairs. • Completes necessary documents for maintenance records. • Responsible for shop cleanliness.
