Maria Armstrong Maria Armstrong became Executive Producer at Big Coat Productions in 2005 after serving as Director of Original Productions for the W Network—one of the top-rated specialty networks in Canada. There she established a strong independent production department and was responsible for overseeing all original productions for the W Network. A creative and knowledgeable professional, Maria has over 30 years of extensive experience in the television and film industry.

Our longest-running series, Love It or List It, passed the milestone of over 100 episodes in 2013! Big Coat Productions specializes in unscripted entertainment-based programming, and documentaries. Catherine Fogarty is the Founder and President of Big Coat Productions, a successful Independent Production Company with offices in Toronto, and Vancouver. An accomplished television producer, writer and director, Catherine has over 500 episodes of lifestyle/reality television to her credit. Catherine began her television career with Armstrong Casting and Entertainment where she wrote and co-produced the documentary series Flower Power( HGTV).
