Welcome to BeachTek Inc. We are here as your resource for unique audio products for your camcorder. Our customers include everyone from the hobby videographer to seasoned professional around the world. Formerly known as Beach Video Services, we started our business as a small video production company in Toronto, Canada in 1991. We quickly realized the many inherent limitations in low cost prosumer and even professional gear. From these problems we first developed solutions for our own needs. Our first device was a simple XLR to mini-plug adapter that allowed us to connect professional microphones to our Sony VX3 camcorder. The adapter was a crude device but it worked well. We soon realized that many other people had this same need. With your encouragement we developed this product with many of your suggestions and ideas over many generations to the full featured DXA-4 series of adapters that we have today...
