Bates Custom Laminating & Framing Blair Bates purchased the business in 1999 and operated it as a part time basement operation until 2001. Deciding it was time to pursue Bates Custom Laminating & Framing full time, he moved the business to Acorn Street on the south side. The time for expansion came yet again, when in 2003 the operation was moved to its present larger location at 22 Durelle Street, with a full showroom and large work space.
