It started in 1976 with BAS manufacturing replacement Jaguar interior kits, this quickly progressed into BAS manufacturing its own materials for use in these kits such as auto carpet, vinyl's and headliners. As time swept by more and more trim shops around the world found BAS to be a great source of trim materials and accessories for their trade, BAS responded to demand and developed and produced more products to feed this market such as Marine carpet, marine vinyl and also Cabriolet soft tops.
