For over 30 years Bankes Boats has been providing the discriminating duck hunter with top quality Duck Hunting Boats. Behind all our boats you will find one common goal: To produce a high quality product that is specifically designed to meet the needs of today's duck hunter, which will stand up to years of abuse, and offer a quality product at a reasonable price. That's why all of our boats are constructed of 100% hand-laid fiberglass, all hardware is stainless steel, aluminum or nylon, and nylon lock nuts are utilized throughout our boats. We go to great lenghts to make sure you recieve a boat that you can depend on and enjoy using, and not spend your precious weekends working on. We are a second generation family run business that is proud of the products we build and stand behind them, but beyond all that we are a family of duck hunters, which means we not only test our products, we use them! If we don't think it would be something we would feel safe in, condfident and enjoy using, then we don't make it.

Here it is, the Layout boat that started it all, the Bankes 10' Pumpkinseed Lay-Out. We have been manufacturing this boat for over 10 years now and have literally sold hundreds of them, and with good reason. They are deadly on the birds, and the best value on the market! They have been tried, tested, and are in use all across North America with great success. Their low profile and unique design ensure that the ducks will never know what hit them! We have spent years perfecting the color so that you will blend right into the water. With it's 56" beam and exclusive "suction cup" hull design, you can be assured of a stable shooting platform, in all kinds of conditions. The boat comes standard with molded in Two Color Camo Battleship Grey gel coat, a stainless steel bow eye through bolted at each end for anchoring, and a molded in gun slot in the deck for laying you gun in.It has a molded fiberglass back rest and spray shield for maximum comfort. There are shelves on each side of you for shells, radio, lunch, and whatever else you may need. Along with the comfortable back rest, our pumpkinseed design provides maximum foot and boot room for your comfort.

This great little marsh boat carries on the Bankes tradition of a quality product that's affordable enough to be enjoyed by all. This smaller cousin of our Long Point Skiff is just the right size to be easily transported in the back of your pick-up, SUV or on your roof rack. It can be easily paddled, punted or powered with up to a 4 HP outboard to get you where you need to go. As with all our products it is constructed of high quality 100% hand laid fiberglass. Molded in dead grass green gel coat for years of maintence free enjoyment. The boat features a fiberglass front deck and two box seats with floatation foam under each, as well as a grassing rail around the cockpit and a stainless steel bow eye for tie down. The smooth flat bottom design acheives a shallow draft boat as well as a stable gunning platform. This is a great little boat that allows you to get where you want to go without breaking the bank.
