Originally from Manitoba, she studied Marketing and Business Administration at the University of Winnipeg. She is a certified Volunteer Manager, is very knowledgeable and has many years experience working with volunteers. Her most recent position, as a Senior Fundraising Coordinator with the Canadian Cancer Society, spanned 8 years. During that time, she received several promotions while working with the Society and also won a provincial award for Fundraising in 2009.
