BJ Auto Parts and Machine was founded in 1968 when Bill Sallstrom had a decision to make when a recent promotion meant having his family move to Toronto. Having a desire to stay in B.C., and seeing a need for an auto parts store in the Port Coquitlam area, Bill and his wife Joyce decided to open B J Parts. In 1985 B J Parts opened up its Automotive Machine Shop to offer a wider range of services to its valued customers. BJ Parts and Machine is a proud member of the National buying group, Auto Sense which has over 165 dealers coast to coast making it the largest co-operative buying group in Canada. This Affiliation enables us to price competitively, and still offer hometown service. After 34 years, BJ Parts and Machine remains a family owned and operated business run by Kurt, Drew and Scott Sallstrom. Our biggest asset has always been our people, and we are very proud of our friendly and knowledgeable staff.
