Description
Iyengar yoga focuses on developing strength, endurance, correct body alignment, flexibility and relaxation. With standing poses being emphasized, one builds strong legs, improves circulation, coordination, balance and an increase in general vitality. Yoga can also be helpful for managing stress and relaxation. Yoga is good for all ages and levels of physical condition. The Fredericton Iyengar Yoga community was pleased to host the Annual Conference of the Iyengar Yoga Association of Canada in May of 2005.
