Atlantic Prosthetics is a full service prosthetics clinic, located in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, providing a complete choice of artifical limbs for amputees. These limbs are available in a wide range of types and materials which offer the amputee the opportunity to make the best selection to fit their needs. We have the knowledge and expertise to help the client choose the limb that is right for them. Prosthetic limbs are made up of two components, a socket which is custom fitted to the amputee, and hardware components which are made by manufacturers worldwide. All limbs are made and assembled on site in our fully equipped lab, using the latest in materials and technology. Everything is custom fitted for the amputee and then expertly adjusted to provide the best performance. Our staff is certified and fully trained in the manufacture, fitting and adjusting of all prosthetic devices. We take pride in remaining current on the latest trends in materials and technology. We have extensive experience with amputees of all kinds, including workplace injuries, traumatic injuries such as motor vehicle accidents, congential anomalies and the loss of limb due to peripheral vascular disease and diabetes.
