It is the strength of their convictions that empowers people to strive for change, to seek and find a 'better way'. Ashcroft Homes took shape out of the convictions of David Choo. An engineer by profession and an innovator at heart, he believed in 1992 that being a builder of homes meant having a hand in people's lives, an opportunity to create life spaces in which people's dreams really could come true. He continues to hold that belief today, after nearly two decades of applying innovation and inspiration in equal measure to produce exceptional developments throughout Ottawa, from Sun Meadows in Barrhaven to Riverwalk in the east and Up country in the west; from Manhattan Square in Bells Corners to Kanata's BriarRidge. His founding vision led Ashcroft Homes to build one of the city's first and most fully realized masterplanned communities: Central Park. Today that vision is revealing new possibilities, defining new concepts such as Alavida Lilfestyles, a subsidiary of Ashcroft Homes focused on answering the need for the full spectrum retirement living options, from luxury condominiums to affordable seniors' suites and retirement residences the latter of which Central Park's Park Place is a shining example. In 2006, Ashcroft Homes continues to build on its legacy by commencing development of a new urban village, CitiPlace. That's our story. The way we see it, we're just getting started.
