Ardexus was formed in 1998 with the mission to provide application software solutions to the vast middle market of businesses to enable them to manage their strategic customer information and improve the processes that handle their relationships with their customers. In fact, Ardexus "evolved" - it evolved from the development efforts of a dedicated team of people (the founders) finding ways that would make their distribution company run more efficiently. This was during a period when economic times were tough and it seemed that technology intelligently applied could enable people to do more - especially in the customer facing teams of marketing, sales and service. In the early nineties new technologies for networking, communication and collaboration offered great promise to not only provide a better product for the customer, but also to achieve dramatic cost savings - a win/win situation.
