We are located in Brantford, Ontario, Canada, approximately 120 kilometres west of Toronto and currently have over 320 employees at the Brantford facility, including 37 with PhDs. The first major pharmaceutical ingredient developed and manufactured by API was Nadolol. Another early success was the anti-viral product, AZT, in which API today has a market leadership position. To this day, API maintains its commitment to the supply of AZT and other anti-viral compounds to developing nations.
