Founded in 1991, APEX is a multi-faceted real-estate development company. Over the past 20 years, we have grown from a two person, one project operation to more than 100 employees in three divisions including: APEX Land and two single family home builders, Excel Homes and Centrex Homes.

Apex has been a prominent land developer in Calgary for over 20 years. Through the experience of consistently delivering desirable and successful communities, Apex has established a strong reputation built on integrity and professional accomplishment.

Focused primarily on first-time and first move-up home buyers, Excel was founded in 1988 and quickly became a front runner for affordable, top quality new homes in Calgary. Since then, Excel has built more than 8,500 homes in 30 communities and consistently ranks in the Top 5 among Calgary single family home builders.

APEX was founded in 1991 as a land development company in Calgary, Alberta. In 1996, APEX opened its first homebuilding division with the creation of Cityhomes, our multi-family builder. This opened the door to a completely new direction for the company and paved the way for our next division: Excel Homes.

For over 20 years, APEX has been one of the leading real estate development companies in Alberta. Our divisions: land development, and two home building companies, enable us to develop, design and construct projects ranging from landmark master planned communities to unique urban developments.
