Alpaca Vista Ranch is located in the scenic Northumberland Hills, just a few kilometers northeast of the 401 at Cobourg Ontario. We began our alpaca adventure in 2002 with the purchase of four females. Since then our herd has grown and improved steadily through selective breeding. We have added award winning genetics to our breeding program with the bloodlines of PPreuvian Javier, Condor, Allianza's Viagra, JAH Romeo and his male offspring Buster Brown (Ontario Supreme Grand Champion). We currently offer both huacaya and suri alpacas at our farm. We believe in supporting the Canadian Alpaca Industry and actively participate in various Alpaca associations. We are members of Alpaca Ontario, The Canadian Camelid Fibre Co-op (CanCam), Canadian Llama and Alpaca Association (CLAA). Casey Dewit is currently serving on the Board of Directors of Alpaca Canada. One of our main focuses is the development of a viable Canadian commercial fibre industry. To that end we have joined forces with two other prominent Ontario ranches in starting The Great Canadian Alpaca Company. Its goal is to provide retailers with quality alpaca products with competitive wholesale pricing. We specialize in catering to the new breeder. We offer full after sale support including farm setup and consultation, feed supply and assistance in breeding, shearing and husbandry for your first year.
