Great Safety Is Great Business In an industry like ours, safety must be paramount, and at Allteck, we will not compromise. We care deeply about our people and invest in their safety. We train, mentor, equip and motivate them to leave work without injury... everyday. We all know safety costs money – but at Allteck, what safety saves is so important that we won’t let money stand in our way. When everyone is safe, everyone wins. We Listen And We Respond Communicating is about listening first, seeking others’ opinions and learning from others’ knowledge.
Allteck has the capabilities for both greenfield and brownfield installation of high voltage substations. This includes the installation and testing of ground grid, structural elements, buswork, power transformers, circuit breakers, CTs and PTs, voltage regulation, reactors, capacitors, control building as well as all cabling and trenching. Setting up local or remote control systems and all testing of equipment is included, along with the provision of Quality Control and Quality Assurance.
Mike Scott, Manager Operations (T&D Resource Manager) Mike joined Allteck in 2001 with 22 years of experience in the Powerline industry. Mike manages and coordinates project and division resources for all of Allteck’s service areas. His many years of field experience on both transmission and distribution projects provide a technical knowledge that complements our Executive Team. Throughout his time in the line industry, he has built a strong reputation as a safe and conscientious Journeyman Powerline Technician.
Distribution Allteck has extensive experience in the installation and maintenance of overhead and underground distribution networks. Allteck has worked on and installed thousands of kilometers of distribution circuits since the company's inception in 1982. A large fleet of specialized vehicles and equipment ensures each team is equipped with the best tools to complete each project. Having state-of-the-art equipment and a strong workforce allows Allteck to minimize disruptions and further build upon its reputation for reliable and safe work practices.
History Allteck has been a Canadian leader in the high voltage electrical sector since its inception in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada in 1982. In November of 2001, Allteck became a subsidiary of Quanta Services, Inc., the largest electric power services contractor in North America. The close working relationship between the two companies was paramount in allowing this affiliation to proceed. Allteck has been designated as the international arm of Quanta, allowing the company to pursue business outside of North America.
