Our Vision and Mission is to unite all food-based, functional food, and other natural health retailers, distributors, manufacturers and related organizations, including health professionals, raw, and finished product suppliers into a single global organization. This is being done in order to pursue collectively the necessary legal, political, marketing, self-regulating quality control, and scientific research initiatives to remove all unnecessary barriers to the free flow of truthful information and quality food-based medicine products and therapeutic food-style services. Our members believe that most chronic diseases can be prevented, treated and in some instances, even cured by the use of naturally occurring nutrient-rich food-based medicine (Dietary Food Supplements). Our organization is an International Non-Governmental Organization (INGO) that is the voice of the small and medium enterprises (SMEs). Our organization represents the most important component of most nations' economy- that is the self-employed entrepreneur operated micro-SME (less then 5 employees), the small-SME (more then 5 but less then 25 employees) and the medium-SME (more then 25 and less then 100 employees).
