Description
Producer Driven Committees Alberta Milk has an Animal Health and Environment Advisory Committee and a Research and Extension Advisory Committee that is comprised of producers dedicated to ensuring that our industry is current on all issues and challenges regarding animal health and welfare. We strive to be a leader in the continuous improvement in care provided to livestock through research, producer workshops, and extension work through these committees.
Alberta Milk is a non-profit organization that represents Alberta's dairy producers. We undertake a variety of activities that represent the interests of Alberta's dairy producers, such a marketing, nutrition, and education, transportation and policy. We are a proud producer-driven organization, whereas we receive our direction from our board of directors and delegates, whom are all licensed dairy farmers.
Using a quota system, producers can ensure that a steady supply of quality products are available to meet consumer demand.
Canadian milk, regardless of whether it is organic or conventional milk, undergoes strict milk quality production procedures and rigorous testing and to assure that you have the highest quality milk to enjoy.
