AiMS Environmental evolved as a partnership of three professional engineers, the name being a derived acronym of the principals' first names: Andrew, Mohamed and Sidney. The firm was founded in 1993 and the Markham offices were established in 1995. It has since grown with a full staff of engineers, hydrogeologists and environmental field technicians. AiMS holds a Certificate of Authorization from Professional Engineers Ontario to offer engineering services to the public. AiMS combines over twenty years of experience and expertise in the fields of geo-environmental, chemical and industrial engineering. Our engineers have been actively involved in performing Phase I and II ESAs and Site Remediation for real estate transactions and property redevelopment in accordance with the Canadian Standards Association CSA Z768-01 guidelines and Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation's (CMHC) policy for environmental risk management. AiMS has an exemplary track record, credibility and respect among professional peers and clients. AiMS principals are also individually licensed to practice professional engineering in the Province of Ontario, and the States of Ohio and Michigan, USA. AiMS carries professional liability insurance for errors and omissions in environmental consulting.
