GIAC has been producing the highest quality performance software for Audi ® and VW ® performance applications for longer than most other tuners in the market today have been in existence. In fact they have been working on these applications for over 17 years now and have achieved success with these cars year after year because they have been willing to devote the time necessary to get it right. GIAC has a variety of programs for almost every Volkswagen made from 1991 to present and most Audi cars from 1996 and later.

GIAC is a software engineering company with 17 years experience tuning cars. They are known for creating “factory smooth” performance software with exceptional power and reliability. GIAC software replaces the standard software in your car's engine control unit. It is programmed to adjust ignition timing, fuel delivery, fuel metering, boost settings, rev limiters, and/or speed limiters to optimize performance and, in some applications, fuel economy. Performance-tuned programs are designed to dramatically increase torque and HP without sacrificing smooth drivability.

Working directly with GIAC for the software version of this turbo kit, as with all our turbo products, we were able to retain perfect drivability manners, as well as to develop robust programming that maintains all factory safeties and emissions monitoring. The responsiveness of the turbo is well suited to this front wheel drive platform. Power delivery is smooth, with no sense of extreme turbo lag or twitchiness. This is in contrast to unsuitably large turbos that may make more horsepower, but come at the expense of low end power loss.
