Active Scale is the largest Canadian manufacturer of Electronic Truck Scales and Rail Car Scales with approximately 2,000 installations throughout Canada, United States, South America and the Caribbean. Throughout our corporate history Active Scale has always been an innovator in the scale industry in Canada. We were the First Canadian Manufacturer to supply Electronic Truck Scales in the 1970's, the first to offer Flat-Deck Scales in the 1980's and the first to offer Modular Scales in the 1990's. Active Scale has manufactured mechanical and electronic rail car scales since the 1960’s.

We manufacture from our 25,000 sq.ft plant in Brantford , ON and have become the largest manufacturer of Industrial Weigh Scales in Central Canada .

Active Scale has 4 service offices across Ontario employing 18 service technicians. Our toll free service line is monitored 24hrs / 7days a week to keep your down time to a minimum. We have 6 Heavy Test Trucks available. All of our service vehicles carry common parts such as load cells, circuit boards & indicator components. This allows our technicians to diagnose, repair & calibrate your scale during one service visit in most cases. We carry parts for most other brands of scales & are equipped to meet all your service needs.
