Your Access Credit Union membership begins the minute you complete a membership application and deposit a minimum amount of $5 into your shares account. As a valued credit union member you have access to all of the products and services the credit union offers its members from the moment you open your account. Call us old fashioned, but we think personal service is important. That's why Access CU offers members excellent in-branch service and leading edge electronic services, a full range of financial products and excellent loan and deposit rates. It's also why the number of credit union branches in Manitoba keeps going up, and why you'll find credit unions are the only financial institutions in dozens of communities and neighbourhoods across the province. Our profits are your profits. The Credit Union is jointly owned by its members. All of our profits go back to benefit members in the form of dividends, improved services, financial reserves and community donations. Any individual, organization or business can join Access CU! We listen to you. We have to. As a member and owner, you have a voice and a stake in the Credit Union. Member feedback helps us continually improve our products, programs and policies. You elect a Board of Directors that is accountable to you. The Credit Union is democratically controlled. Each member has an equal vote at the Annual Meeting to help elect the Board of Directors. These Directors are your representatives and you can talk to them directly whenever the need arises. We have convenient branches and ATMs. Access Credit Union has 12 branches across Southern Manitoba. The provincial ATM network is impressive too-we have over 200 in Manitoba-and credit union members have complete access to their accounts through all of them for deposits, withdrawals and transfers. Through Cirrus ®, Interac ® and Maestro ® networks, members can make withdrawals at thousands of ATMs worldwide. Social responsibility is a serious commitment. Access Credit Union is committed to developing programs and policies to support the overall well being of our members, our employees and our communities. We put our money where our mouth is by directing a percentage of pre-tax profits into community donations. We put people before profits.
