Description

The Academy of Shaolin is directly descended from the original Shaolin monastery. This school is authentic Shaolin passed down from teacher to student or rather, from generation to generation - for more than a thousand years. While some of the traditions have changed over the years... the essence is still the same. Like a garden, Shaolin is about cultivation. Strengthening the body... growing the mind... expanding the awareness... tending the spirit... and refining the character... The very definition of “kung” or “gong”... is work or effort over a period of time.
