ABC Head Start

ABC Head Start Society is a children’s charity in Edmonton that offers inclusive early learning programs for children turning 3 or 4 by December 31, running from September to June. It provides classroom-based education with support from social workers, speech language pathologists, and other specialists, emphasizing play as a key learning method. The organization also offers family engagement services, including Stay and Play groups and Parent Workshops, and has served over 800 children and families annually since its founding in 1985. Head Start aims to prepare children for kindergarten and supports families through a multidisciplinary team and community resource access.
