The key personnel of A-1 Detailing started their careers as welders, layout people, fitters, and painters; providing them with extensive hands-on experience in steel fabrication, and an excellent knowledge of the information required on drawings. To further their careers, certification was attained through the American Institute of Steel Construction, and Canadian Institute of Steel Construction sponsored connection design courses. Mr. Nathan Priest received his Mechanical Engineering degree through the University of New Brunswick, highly respected as one of the best engineering universities in Canada.
